The Tanganyika Early Years School

At the Early Years,We provide a safe and caring environment where children under six (6) years old will learn and grow positively. We provide half-day and full-day educational programs, with afternoon enrichment classes. Our principles are based on four (4) themes: A Unique Child – Every child is a competent learner from birth who can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. Positive Relationships - Children learn to be strong and independent from a base of loving and secure relationships with parents first and then their teachers and peers. Enabling Environment – Our child friendly environment plays a key role in supporting and extending the children’s development and learning. Learning and Development – Children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates, and all areas of learning and development are of equal importance and are interconnected.
The areas of learning are set out in the curriculum section. Our starting point of implementing the curriculum is by recognizing that every child is different, with his/her own developing view of the world, interests and abilities. 
We respect the different forms of family life that the children are brought up in as well as their social and cultural backgrounds.
